Prom is over, but the night isn't. Nor is the fun, when you've hired a US Coachways luxury limousine for the night. Arriving, departing and everything else you do in a limo is Big Fun and not as expensive as you might think. In fact, when you share the cost among several VIP-for-the-night passengers, it's absolutely affordable.
Aside from being an impressive way to show up, getting there in a limo is more than half the fun. And, since neither you nor any of your friends has to designate themselves a driver, everybody can laugh as hard as they like and not pay attention to the road. At all. Take and make all the phone calls you can stand and while you're at it, call O'Malley's Corner at 589.3866 and ask if it's an 18+ night. If it IS, have your driver take you there immediately. 133 West Liberty Street, downtown.
O'Malleys isn't 'just a nightclub'. Far from it! O'Malley's is five clubs in one. They've got a mechanical bull in one room, a revolving dance floor in another. One cover charge gets you into all five clubs and they're open 'til 4:00 AM, so get your hand stamped in case you wind up here later in the evening. You never know.. anything can happen on Prom Night, right?
Hanging out in O'Malley's for an hour or two may leave you temporarily deafened; riding awhile in your luscious limousine might be just the thing to do. Ask the driver to take your roaming party-on-wheels to Oliver's Billiards on Dupont Circle, right off Breckenridge Lane. The beer's off-limits so don't even try, but you can play all the pool and billiards you want and gobble hot wings until you turn orange. Be sure to wash your hands before getting back into the limousine, please!
Zena's cafe at 122 West Main Street is a fine destination if you and your friends like to listen to the Blues. World-traveling blues bands and talented locals every night of the week. Zena's is age-friendly and comfortable in a funky, blues-bar sort of way. Good place to hang with your pals awhile before heading back to the dance clubs. Or, if you're still into sitting and listening to good music but are eager for a little more limo-ing, pile back into your hired dreamboat and ride to Rudyard Kipling's at 422 West Oak Street, where the music is blues, bluegrass and rockabilly country.
When everyone's ready to go dancing again, climb back into your lovely limo and ask your dedicated driver to take you to 133 West Liberty Street and the Rock-It Club. As the name suggests, this is a rockin' place with a killer sound system, a hot dance floor and cool DJs. Another good dance club in the neighborhood (but far enough away that you simply must take the limo there) is Coyote's, at 116 West Jefferson. Something extraordinary seems to happen on prom night, and even the shyest guys somehow find the beat and move their feet. Dancing all night is effortless; good thing there's plenty of good clubs to choose from.
Eventually even the most magical nights winds down. A nice way to end the evening -or say 'hello' to the rising sun before heading home - is over an excellent mug of steaming coffee. Breakfast in formal wear can be fun, too. To that end, there's a Denny's at 434 Eastern Parkway. All in all it's been a remarkable night and your US Coachways limousine surely added to making it memorable.
Hiring a limousine for after-prom is a safe and smart idea. Chances are your folks will allow you a later curfew since you won't be at the mercy of a teenage driver. Your parents, and you, don't have to worry about a thing - US Coachways limos are safety-checked daily and the drivers are trained professionals. They know how to get you wherever you want to go and they get you there in high style.
