So, the big day is finally almost here and you have just brought home your wedding gown. Now that the dress is with you, things may start to become more real, especially as the countdown begins. Even though you may have daydreamed about your wedding gown in the past, you may find yourself doing it even more so now. How will you look when you are getting in and out of the limousine? Will I be able to maneuver in it while still looking graceful? One of the more powerful questions has to do with fear, being the question of how you will be able to wear it without ripping or staining it at all on the big day, especially before the ceremony even begins.
One really good trick that most brides will use is designating someone to help you with your dress, be it the maid of honor or a close relative. This person should probably go with you to some of your final fittings so that she knows exactly how your dress works, how the train is attached and so on. You should also speak with whomever is going to be helping you with your dress of what they can do to help you in case you have a wedding gown emergency. This is where a type of bridal survival kit can come in really handy.
Such a bridal survival kit should contain the regular bridal emergency staples including tissues, make up, deodorant, breath mints and also sewing items. This is the perfect place to keep double-sided fabric tape in case of a problem in the hem area. You can also include a needle and thread, safety pins and so on. By being prepared, you will have a much better chance of keeping your wedding gown looking beautiful throughout your entire special day. Now, you can only hope that you do not step on the front of your wedding gown when you are getting out of the limousine for the ceremony!
