Maryland is a great place to be married. Whether luxurious traditional is your style, or you want totally unique, there is a location for you. Here are a couple of options to get your planning started.
The Kent Manor Inn might be the perfect place for you to choose. The original house was built in 1820. At that time, it consisted of a living room, dining room, kitchen, and pantry downstairs, and 6 rooms on the second and third floors. The center portion was added by Alexander Thompson before the Civil War. All of the rooms on the first and second floor have fireplaces with Italian marble, and from the cupola, you can see the entire farm and the waterfront. This is a beautiful Victorian inn, and you couldn’t choose a more captivating place to have your wedding. Your guests will love the spectacular views, and if your guests need accommodations, the guest rooms will be sure to please.
Alternatively, Gramercy Mansion is a spectacular location. Here, you are surrounded by breathtaking gardens, this historic estate is elegantly decorated, with antiques and artwork. The Mansion accommodates up to one hundred and fifty people, seated. The Carriage House is also available, for more intimate affairs, and can accommodate as much as one hundred, seated. Eleven rooms are available for your guests if they need accommodations.
Whatever site you choose, make sure that the site is one that you absolutely love. Your wedding should be the most perfect day of your life, and the site will play a big part of that.
