When your best friend plans to get hitched and you are given the honor of being his best man, planning the bachelor party is automatically thrown into your hands. If this is your first time tackling the issue of planning a bachelor party, don't worry – we have some tips and ideas that will make the bachelor party a blast, at the expense of the groom, of course!

Who's to be invited to the Bachelor Party?
Traditionally speaking, the Bachelor Party is a Guys Only thing that girls aren't allowed to attend. A Bachelor Party is when all the guys get their chance to loose a few marbles for at least a night. The consequences? Think about it the next morning. Even when the unspoken rule is that the ladies are not allowed to attend, it's your prerogative whether you want to get any of the girls involved but usually, the Bachelor Party is the groom's last night to some ‘unadulterated' fun before his wedding. The bride will have her own Bachelorette Party and both are going to have the time of their lives as singles before getting hitched. Some guys prefer to have special guests to a bachelor party albeit in the form of a stripper or maybe a sexy belly dancer, but it's really up to you and the guys.

Things to do at a Bachelor Party

Drinking Session
Bottoms Up, guys, it's time to get plastered! Everyone knows that at the heart of every Bachelor Party, there's the drinking. This is a tradition that we use to celebrate the upcoming wedding and to end the life of singlehood of the groom. After the wedding, it is considered tough for the groom, as a married man and possibly a father, to get together with the guys as easily as he can as a single. The Bachelor Party is all about letting it all go, so it's the best time to drink and drink really hard. This is not the time to be prudish about the drinks, so, make sure you purchase a mixture of alcoholic beverages such as beers, liquor, wine, champagne and any other type of beverages that contain alcohol. The mission? Simple. Get the groom drunk and make the tonight as good as possible for him and the next morning as horrible as possible. Games like spin the bottle, thumper, viking and so on will ensure that the Bachelor will have to crawl his way up the aisle tomorrow.

Gambling Session
It's no Bachelor Party without a little gambling! Somehow, gambling seems to be part of most bachelor parties. Usually, part of or the whole house winning is kept for the groom or is used to pay for the party. In fact, it is quite a norm to give a share of winnings to the groom – as a token of appreciation for letting the guys “torture” him.

Torture Chambers for the Groom
In some culture and tradition, it's common to give the groom a hard time during the Bachelor Party. For the Chinese, they make the groom do a lot of humiliating stuff in order to get to the bride. And for others, they give the man a hard time during his Bachelor Party, so, the bottom line is, you need to get your game together and have a plan to torture the man of the night. Look, this may be the only party that you will get to totally embarrass the groom and he will be in no position to retaliate or get upset. Have him parade around in a big condom hat or make him do the belly dancing show for the rest of you. A self-made idiotic looking T-shirt is also a great way to humiliate the “stag”. Or if you are having the party at a pub, you could make the groom strip to his briefs and dance on the table in public. If you have better ideas, please…be our guest.

Food – Wonderful Food?
No cooking – that's another rule of a Bachelor Party. The worse it is for you, the better the party. This may sound strange but this is a tradition for Bachelor Party because during stag nights, the guys are served oily, greasy food such as pizzas, buffalo wings, fried chicken, burgers – practically everything that's purchased and not homemade. It is a rule that none of the food eaten that night is homemade stuff.

Joke telling
If you think you think you can challenge Eddie Murphy with ‘raunchy' jokes, it's time to show off. The more you tell, the more you laugh, and the more you laugh, the more you will be drinking. Yes, this is also another great way to get drunk.

Stripper Show
Generally, all bachelor parties have a stripper show unless the bachelor of the night made prior requests not to have one. So, on whether you want to hire a stripper to tease, tempt and taunt the groom-to-be is entirely up to you but (Pst! Pst!) what kind of Stag Night is it going to be without this anyway?

What NOT to bring to a bachelor's party?
As you can see, Stag Nights are truly the kind of Naughty Night that we hope the groom will remember for a long time to come. With all the naughty stuff that is to go on throughout the night, all evidence must be eliminated or prevented. So cameras (digital, conventional, on the mobile phones) and video cameras are out of question.

Do what you have to do…strip search if you have to! Listen, you are treading on dangerous grounds here because any of the evidence can seriously affect the marriage and cause damage to the future relationship between the couple. It is not ethical at all to keep “souvenirs” of the party for the wrong reasons. A bachelor party is held in honor of the groom and not to bring dishonor to him later on. Whatever is said or done at the bachelor party, should be kept within the constraints of the four walls.
