Planning a Limousine Rental in Chicago?

Chicago Party Limousine

Chicago can be exciting on Party night, but even more so if you are traveling in a limousine. Take your limousine and your friends and have fun on your post Party journey. Remember to stick together and you will have the time of your lives.

Keep your dancing shoes on and hop in the limousine for a trip to Beaumont in Chicago's Lincoln Park district. A young, energetic crowd graces this awesome dance club. The crowd's apparel tends to be quite trendy here, so you should fit in quite well dressed in your Party gear. Catch a plethora of tunes including music from the 80s, R&B, new wave, and hip-hop. Feel free to take a break from dancing and challenge your limousine gang to a few games of pool or darts. Golden Tee 2005 and many touch-screen video games are available for your enjoyment as well. Don't forget to admire the quirky decor before you and your friends head back to the limousine.

Ride the limousine to the Wicker Park area as you and your pals head to the Red Dog Club for some more Partying. The crowd at this dance club is quite diverse and so is the music. On the main floor, you'll find the DJs spinning dance music, funk, acid jazz, and house tunes. If you like, head upstairs to the Boom Boom Room to groove to some 70s tunes. Just don't wear yourself out so much that you are too tired for another Party limousine trip.

In the River West area, the limousine driver can park in front of Rive Gauche so that you can continue your Party dancing. You will find a small replica of the Eiffel Tower in this establishment that considers itself a European club. Even though the decor may be a bit tacky, sporting velvet and flamboyant furniture, the people definitely are not since there is a dress code. You and your friends will fare well in this club as far as your threads go. Move to trance, progressive, and dance music on the huge dance floor. When you are ready to move on, gather your friends and get back to the limousine.

Looking for a place to relax and enjoy fine music before you end your Party limousine tour of Chicago? Look no further than Buddy Guy's Legends. The crowd is young and the acts are local. You are sure to enjoy a warm, soothing drink here while you listen to the smooth sounds of blues music. Buddy Guy himself even plays here often, so you might catch one of his performances if you're lucky. Memorabilia enhances the atmosphere of this comfortable blues joint. You can even enjoy a game or two of pool while you revel in the beautiful, mellow music. Buddy Guy's Legends is the perfect place for you and your pals to unwind and recount the night's adventures before you get back into the limousine to head home.

No matter where in Chicago you choose to go Party in your limousine, this night is sure to be one that you will never forget.

What a Wicked way to spend the evening!

"THE BEST MUSICAL OF THE YEAR. If every musical had the brain, the heart and the courage of WICKED, Broadway would be a more magical place." -Time Magazine . It's indeed rare for such a review, granted the fact that most reviewers would feel a certain level of obligation to spare the blow even if whatever they were reviewing was bad but Wow, for a review like this WICKED has to be something. However, before believing any review that is read and trying to find out if it is indeed true or merely a shoe-polishing act, it is common for us to take that chance to prove to oneself on what has been reviewed - just to satisfy my quest for the truth. And with Wicked , it was no different at all - I checked it out and personally, I must agree that it certainly lived up to the review given by Time Magazine . Wicked is one musical show that seems to have stood the test of time as well as the test of cast changes.

If catching a musical is your way of relaxing and you enjoy allowing fantasy land take over your mind and emotions, you will find Wicked , playing at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre, Chicago, just the right kind of musical for you. Well, if you're feeling the leftover gift-giving feeling from Christmas, go ahead and be generous - get tickets to Wicked for your loved ones and everyone can go enjoy this dramatically enchanting theatrical work together. What would make the evening even more magical is if there was a limousine to take all of you to the show together. Besides, the limousine would be a great way to go because it's been said that almost every Wicked show is packed, so there's no telling if you will be able to find a parking spot if you were to drive there yourself. Being limousine-driven to Wicked is definitely something everyone will remember for a long time to come.

What Wicked is all about .

Long time ago, Dorothy grabbed all the limelight through the Wizard of Oz and no credit was being given to the witches who made the show and play all that much more enticing and exciting. Well, Wicked is the show that will dig into the witches' past and show you how the two sisters became who they are. One of them was born with emerald-green skin and is smart, fiery, but unfortunately, misunderstood. The other girl, however, is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells of how these two girls from totally different backgrounds end up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

Wicked - the untold story of the witches of Oz, is loosely based on the best-selling novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire. It is the musical back-story of the Wicked Witch of the West, known as Elphaba while she was attending magic school with the girl who later became Glinda the Good Witch. It explores the idea of the notorious antagonist we call the Wicked Witch of the West, who was misunderstood and victimized. Her so-called wickedness came about as a result of retaliation against a fraud wizard's corrupt government. The intelligent emerald-green-skinned teenager, Elphaba, meets the beautiful and ambitious Galinda (who later becomes Glinda the Good Witch) when they end up rooming with each other, due to some confusion with the room assignments. Thus begins the struggles between the two to endure extreme personality clashes, opposing viewpoints, competition over the same love-interest, and last but not least, Elphaba's eventual tragic fall from grace.

The show begins with Glinda descending in a bubble giving the people of Oz the good news of the death of The Wicked Witch of the West and reveals the story of the Witch's childhood. She tells of how the witch was born with emerald-green skin and was rejected by her father. Glinda then goes on to tell the tale of when she was a student by the name Galinda Upland, just entering college and that's where she first met the Witch, whose name then was Elphaba. Elphaba arrives at the college with her crippled, yet spoiled sister, Nessarose. And because of the color of Elphaba's skin, all of the students didn't like her and Elphaba's father gave a pair of silver shoes to Nessarose as a gift, and at the same time, reminds Elphaba that the only reason she is there is to take care of her sister. Due to some rooming assignment confusion, Galinda ends up sharing a room with Elphaba. At the same time, Elphaba's natural talent of magic was discovered by Madame Morrible who tells Elphaba that she could end up at the top and Galinda, upon hearing this, is unhappy because she was keen on studying sorcery but was not accepted into the sorcery seminar, and this is just the beginning of the many unfortunate incidents that caused the rift between Galinda and Elphaba.

What happens to the friendship of Galinda and Elphaba after that? Why did Elphaba rebel and how did she earn the title "The Wicked With of the West"? Well, if you want to know, you will have to find out the answer at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre, Chicago . The running time for Wicked is 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission. If you are looking for a bargain, there's the Wicked Day-of-Performance Drawing that gives fans a chance to see the musical for only $25. It takes place from Tuesdays through Fridays at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre box office and Saturdays and Sundays at the Borders Books and Music, located adjacent to the theater at 150 N. State St . But hurry, get your tickets online from www.ticketmaster.com or call Broadway in Chicago Ticket Line at (312) 902-1400 , before all the tickets fly through the roof! And tell your friends to do their part too - book the limousine!
