Sure, the dress is the most important aspect of your prom attire but let’s not forget the hair. You could be wearing a Prada to the prom but if you don’t have a hair-do that suits your dress, it’s going to be such a waste, anyway. Make mistakes about it, with the right kind of hairstyle, you can look far more glamorous than you’ve ever dared anticipate and that guy you’ve been eyeing all semester….this could be the time to catch his eye. There are so many different options for prom hairstyles but let’s just say irregardless of whether you’ve short or long hair, it’s always possible to turn a plain Jane into a glamour puss.

As with a big event, hardly anyone thinks about what the guys are going to wear to the prom because it's the same old thing everywhere, all the time. B-O-R-I-N-G! In fact, think about it….whether it's the prom, the wedding, the birthday, a huge business event or an anniversary, it's the same thing....it's a tuxedo. This is the only way a guy can look presentable and formal at the prom. No celebrity locks and rides. Might as well not go to the prom!” This was what I heard from a friend's daughter recently. The mother was protesting about the prom limousine rental business and the daughter was totally beyond aghast at the idea of NOT renting a limousine for it. Of course, after having a conversation with the friend of mine, the daughter won and she will get to ride in a dream limousine to her prom along with her friends.

Planning the prom should be like all other types of planning activities. First of all, on the agenda, you must have FUN FUN FUN planning the prom. This is based on experience, of course, so the committee members that you pick for the prom should be people who like to have fun too. I mean, I just cannot imagine a bunch of people who thinks the prom is a bad idea planning the prom. This is definitely the biggest party of the year…every year, so, although it’s serious business (because you want to things to go right) it should be done and planned with a lot of fun and smart thinking as well.

Every time the word ‘prom’ is said, the first thing I think about is fairytale princesses, handsome princely men, fabulous ballroom and of course…the prettiest ever red-carpet-deserving prom dresses. This year, I’ve taken a peep at some of the prom dresses available on the internet for the year and I am kind of elated with the designs and variety. But it would be a big mistake for you to take on the first prom dress that takes your fancy. There are many other things to consider and think about before you start begging your parents for their credit cards.

Limousines are snapped up pretty quickly during prom time, so, if you don’t like the idea of driving yourself to your prom, the one single most important thing to happen while you’re still in your teens, be sure to do everything you can to book the prom limousine early. I mean, really, you don’t ride in a limousine everyday, so, don’t miss the boat for your prom. Hate to imagine any one of you pimping a ride to the prom – so, book the limousine early!
