The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is always the talk of the town and if you check out some recommendations about top things to do when you are in San Antonio, chances are, this event would be one of the top ten events. Although the event is held at different times every year, one thing is for sure, there is fun to be had for everyone all around! There are plenty of different activities for kids, teenagers and grown-ups alike. And the highlight of the event would be the sterling performances from rodeo riders.
Stars are invited every year to come entertain the visitors with acts, songs, dances and small concerts. If you are lucky, you might even catch your favorite artiste in action! In fact, in 2011, artistes like Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Chris Young and Luke Bryan performed for attendees. Without fail, visitors also get to show off or learn from the games that the organizers have put together – for instance, the BBQ Cookoff and Cowboy Golf Classic. And after the event, everyone gets to mingle around at the Concert and Go Rodeo Ball.
“What I really love about attending the rodeo show was that the grounds are kept manned and active all the time, so much so that everything is happening at the same time. There were hands-on games and experiments for the kids, pony rides, pig races and wine tasting,” said Shannon, one of our regular San Antonio party bus rental customers.
