Wedding Memories…record it all down

Weddings are magical and it’s an experience that one should have lots of memories of….fond ones to recall. Weddings should also be recorded in every single way possible so that we can look back at those pictures we took during the wedding, look back at it and tell stories to our grandkids while we sit on the rocking chair. It’s true and with all the modern equipment we have at hand these days, there are many ways to record down the precious wedding memories to share with your friends and family. A friend recorded everything wedding detail down from the point of proposal to the honeymoon.

The first thing you can and should do is to set up your own wedding website or blog! It’s free and it’s convenient – what’s there to complain about? To start off your wedding blog or website, visit either www.blogger.com, www.wordpress.com or even something as simple as www.bravejournal.com works perfectly find. And when you start recording all the wedding memories down, just email your friends and family about it and let them know that you will be updating your wedding blog regularly and if they are curious, they can just log in and comment on it!

Some friends kept an offline version of their wedding journal to record down the bad stuff that happens. Hey, this is life and this is a wedding we’re talking about. We don’t blog about every wedding-related argument we have with our future in-laws and future husbands/wives about it on the Internet, do we?

Another favor you can do yourself relating to your upcoming wedding is to get a wedding registry started. Don’t know what a wedding registry is? It’s just something most wedding couples use to list down all the things that they want or need for their wedding. Post a link to all the wedding registries that you have so that your friends and family can do their part to help you pay for your wedding. Weddings are expensive these days and we all understand if there’s a shortage of credit limit.

Another great idea is to have a wedding day scrapbook too. Just take loads of pictures, print them out and start scrapbooking. Take it from me, it’s really fun to look back at later on in life and it brings back loads of fun and crazy wedding memories!
