So you’ve got the limousine rental settled and you’re happy as a lark. But hang on a minute, you’ve got to sit down and work out the wedding registry thing. Have you thought about what kind of gifts you’d want for your wedding? Do your friends know exactly what you want for your wedding? No idea? As usual, Lady Limelight’s here to give you a couple of mind-jogs. As with everything else, you should try to work out the wedding issues in categories…in this case, from one section of the house to another. Let’s see…let’s start with everyone’s favorite place in a wedding home…the kitchen (it’s mine, anyway)! As a wedding gift, do you need a coffee maker for late-sleepers? Or perhaps would a set of stainless steel pot ware come in handy for the wedding couple? You don’t have to scratch your head over the wedding gifts, in fact, it could be something as simple as a set of oven gloves…nice ones, of course! Other ideas for kitchen wedding gifts are blender, cups/plates set, and maybe a cutlery set. And on to the bedroom where things get intimate. You must have a pretty good idea about the concept of the wedding bedroom by now. Keep the concept in mind and think about the wedding gifts along those lines. How about a floor or wall lamp, or a comforter set? A bedside table as a wedding gift might come in fabulously, wouldn’t it? Other ideas for bedroom wedding gifts include a single seater sofa and a rug. Next up, you can register the following items as wedding gifts…television (cost might have to be shared), tea-light holders, clocks, vases for decoration and cushions for the sofa. In fact, I think ornaments and simple decoration pieces might make beautiful wedding gifts as well. For the dining area, I think you would appreciate champagne or wine glasses, lightings, plates and maybe even a chandelier for wedding gifts! And finally, for the bathroom, you could name the following as potential wedding gifts….bathroom toiletries set, towel dryer (the electronic type preferred), towels and you know what? How about bubble foot massager?
