Organizing Prom Night, Getting Things Done Right

You only get one chance to get it right ? that is why organizing your prom night, the biggest night of your teen life, should be team work. It may turn out to be more complicated than you anticipate because of the many different things that you need to do, the people you need to call, the party bus limousine rental companies to look up and...it's endless.

First of all, the committee members for the prom night should seek the advice of teachers and appointed counselors. Teens should keep an open-heart and mind to the advice because the teachers' been there, the parents' been there; hence, they may have some useful advice that they can throw your way. Sure, they may not be in-the-know about what's cool and 80's music, you will have them know, is no longer hip but we are sure that the grown-ups are more than willing to have it your way provided safety, security and proper decorum is adhered to.

You'll be surprised, despite how back-dated you think the grown-ups are, with their help, organizing the prom night will be more smooth-sailing.

A sure-fire way to mess up the whole organizing of prom night affair is to leave things for the last minute. Listen, get a to-do list, run it by the counselors, and stick to it. If you can do it today, do it today. Tomorrow, there will be more things to do, more places to go and things change. Most prom nights take at least three to four months to organize in advance.

Yes, it is a lot like organizing one's own wedding but, at least, with the prom night, you get guidance that you don't have to pay for (as opposed to a married couple having to pay for a wedding organizer's services).

Even out the responsibilities. Let everyone have a role in getting things done so that the responsibilities don't get piled up on one person. If one person is not doing his or her duty, get a replacement ? immediately!

Make time for fund-raising activities so that you can afford to make the prom night a memorable one. It is the responsibility of the prom organizing committee to come up with these money-making ideas, delegating the tasks, and their role is to help others get things together. Shortness of cash, as with shortness of time, can make or break the whole prom night.

So, if your prom night is creeping up on you and you're still hunting around for a good party bus limousine rental company, you're in luck. That's exactly what we have in store for you.
