Countdown towards the prom
Prom is the big night and the clock’s ticking away. You can literally see the seconds fly by and you’re wondering if you’re ready for the big day. Now, this blog entry about counting down towards prom night is written for BOTH the gals and the guys, so, listen up, ok? Here are the important things for you to do months before the actual prom night comes around so that you’re ready and well-prepared for it.
A few months before the prom…maybe four to five months before prom night, you’ll have to start making a checklist of things. Now, I understand you won’t know everything that you’ll need for prom night so many months in advance but it pays to write down whatever you can think of now. As you go along and think of things to add to this prom night checklist, you can add to it later on. At this point in time, you should also start saving whatever money you can for the stuff you’ll need to spend on during prom night. Start early! It’s also time to get around to asking your parents about how much are they willing to fork out for the prom….or if you’re going to have to foot the bill yourself. This way, you won’t be caught in a bind three weeks before prom night! One more thing….get ahead and start asking that crush of yours for a date to the prom.
Another month down the road, you’ll have to start discussing with your friends to see if they have good recommendations for prom limousine rental services. Prom limousine rental is essential to you because this is the only way to maximize the time you have during prom night. Talk about, also, eating out at a good restaurant nearby where the prom’s going to be held. While you’re checking out prom limousine rental, look around for prom tuxedo rentals and dresses too.
A month before the prom, get the tickets to the prom, discuss the plans you have for the night with your parents. This way, you can finalize all the details for prom night before it’s too late. About two weeks before prom night, call the florist for corsage order, get a haircut, and finalize reservations for prom. A few days before the prom, confirm the time the prom rental limousine’s going to come by your place, pick up the corsage and prep yourself up for a night filled with rock and roll!
