Wedding Day Beauty Plan

Getting beautiful is not an overnight thing and if you wait till a week to get that ready-to-be-married look of the year, you’re in for a unpleasant surprise. You see, beauty starts from within and unfortunately for us, our body don’t work the way the digital world work….things don’t just go KAZZOOOM inside there. So, in order to get a overhaul of your look, you need to spend at least 4 months working on the way you look and the way you feel! Ideally, six months should be spend pampering yourself, testing out new hairstyles, getting that hair rebonding done, pedicure and manicure and not forgetting the facials and massages.

It’s not to say that you can’t make a difference with two weeks worth of work. Just that….you’re going to look good but not ravishing. And this is your WEDDING we’re talking about so, we should try targeting on the ‘earth-shattering’ difference instead of just GOOD. You can always start with your hair because hair takes a longer time to grow and you have that time to grow out of a bad hair-do just in case. And perhaps you’d like to dry a new hairstyle, add a new color, a highlight for your wedding….there’s plenty of time to experiment with loads of stuff that you have time to outgrow before the wedding reception.

If you’re starting a new beauty routine, you might want to consider starting early as well because beauty products are not magical potions and they take some time to work…you might need about 3 months or so before the wedding date. Two months before your wedding, get a manicure and pedicure done – and along the way, experiment with and get to know the expert better to see if his or her style suits you. And there’s another thing that many wedding couples put off doing until the very last minute…which is the makeup artist. The makeup artist who tends to your face plays a huge role in your beauty regime. It’s best to get to know the makeup artist before the wedding even if they show you huge piles of portfolio. They may make other wedding couples look great but you’re you and they’re them. Give the makeup artist a trial run about two months before the wedding and if you’re OK with what she/he can do to your face, book them early to avoid disappointment.
