All booked up – wedding guests accomodation

If you’re having a lot of wedding guests from out of town, trying to get the guests settled into a nice little hotel can be quite a headache! Most wedding couples would just book their wedding guests into the hotel where their receptions are held and take advantage of a wedding package that the hotel might offer, some of you might not be having your wedding reception at a plush hotel. Here’s what you can do.

Get a wedding package from a hotel MINUS the wedding hall
SOME hotels do this and some don’t, so, it’s up to you or your wedding planner to scout around for a hotel who would give you room packages when you book up to a certain number of rooms. Now, in order to take advantage of a wedding package like that, confirm attendance from all the wedding guests first. Do not book until you’re completely certain that the wedding guests are positive they’re able to attend. That is why you would have to confirm and double-confirm everything months in advance. If you don’t have the time or energy to do this, why not just hire a wedding planner?

House them up in an APARTMENT for let near the wedding venue
Lots of people do this but it’s not all that popular. For those who are particular about where they stay during your wedding, advice them that they would have to book their own accommodation themselves, apologize about half a million times that you don’t have the time to book it for them. Then for those who are not particular, rent an apartment or a bungalow for all the wedding guests. Check out the place before agreeing to rent it for your wedding – ensure there’s adequate space and rooms to go around. I often like this arrangement because we can have BBQ after the wedding.

Medium-rate hotels will provide cheaper wedding room packages
Worse comes to worse, you might have to settle for a cheaper hotel with not as many stars added to the back of its ratings. Most of them are reasonably well-maintained around New Jersey area, so, this should work out fine.

If you have the budget for it, you might want to check out some of these South NJ hotels. http://www.seaoaksgolf.com and http://www.marriott.com/phlfm.
