Taking Care Of The Prom Limo Driver and You’ll Be Well Taken Care Of

Think about a prom and you’ll have images of kids driving around in a luxury limousine without a care in the world and hanging out of the windows, screaming (according to them, they’re singing) on top of their lungs and showing the rest of the world what kind of fun they’re having. You could be having the time of your life since it is your prom night and you have a limousine driver to drive you around. But nothing irks a limousine driver more than having to endure these episodes. This is not to say that you can’t have fun but since his or her mood is related to your safety, I say we should thread carefully here.

If you’re planning to ask the limousine driver to take you around for a ride or maybe make a couple of stops along the way or pick up your pet dog from the vet, always advice them in advance. Different limousine companies have different set of rules although they’re usually more or less the same. But if you want special drinks in the back, warn them. Some limousine companies that don’t train their limo drivers well enough, hence the limo drivers might accept a couple of goodwill drinks from you from the backseat. But for companies like USCoachways Inc., we work very hard at keeping our reputation as one of the country’s leading limousine rental companies in tact. Drinking and working (driving the limousine around) is prohibited.

A lot of limousine rental companies would rather NOT do prom rides because of the kind of rowdy situations kids can get into during their prom nights but we’re not like that. We think you are entitled to have all the fun you want but being on your best behavior is important too! The limousine driver should dress appropriately, know the directions and provide courteous service…if you really REALLY like the service provided, remember to tip the limousine driver when it’s over. Tips are usually included inside the limo rental contract but it would make the limousine driver very happy to get a little bit more from you. If you have a lot of people riding the limo, take about $5 or $10 from each person and the limousine driver would have extra pocket money for his kids back home for doing a good job.
