They don’t like to get too close to people (they are considered introverted but loud and noisy birds) so, getting an up close and personal look at them. Catching them in action on your camera should suffice. 
 
There are countless places for birding activities and they include some far-flung places (but they are worth visiting, though, because some offer more than just the opportunity to chill with the birds but also some wine-tasting and hiking) like Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Oak Flat Campground, Burro Creek Recreation Area and also not forgetting places like Desert Botanical Garden, Pima Canyon and Gilbert Ponds. Get a guide if you are traveling and doing this alone. Another great option would be to take on a photo tour on the Riparian Preserve right along the Water Ranch. The Preserve is managed by a group of environmentally-friendly activists from the Town of Gilbert. Once you are done with bird watching and taking photos, a respite can be found at the nearby lake and do some fishing. 
 
So, don’t miss the chance to get up close and personal...not with the birds, but at least with Mother Nature.

When Is The Best Time To Visit Houston

With blessed sunny weather all year round, there is no ‘best time’ to visit Houston, technically speaking and the tourism industry reflects the fact that locals who dread the dreary wet winter in their hometowns naturally picks Houston as their favorite city to visit. In fact, with the warm, pleasant weather and affordable pricing across the board, Houston has become a quick getaway option for people from all over the world, all year round.
