Unwind Like A Phoenix Local, Bird Watching (Phoenix)

Tuesday, May 14. 2013

phoenix party bus activities attractions rental

It has been said before (but we will say it again), if you want to the dirty details about a locality, the best way to do it is...to do it THEIR way, instead of doing the touristy thing that most of the time aimed at foreign visitors. But if the curious you is starting to get just a wee bit tired of the fanfare, then give this a shot - bird-watching.

And the locals call the bird-watching activity ‘birding’ and it is one of the most popular ‘sport’ in the state of Arizona. Phoenix locals are also quick to jump at the chance to go birding with their best pals during the weekends or off days. The reason behind why the activity is popular is because of the multifaceted terrain that is so Phoenix and this fact lends to the fact that birds flock over seasonally. On last count, according to experts, there are now more than five hundred different species of birds right here in Phoenix alone.

If you have a local tour guide to help you out, he or she may help you catch sight or catch on photograph the Arizona state bird called the cactus wren. The name tells you that the beak on this bird is curved but they are quite small birds, making it hard to catch without a good pair of binoculars. You don’t need to climb very hike up very far because the birds prefer to make their homes where it is four thousand in elevation. They don’t like to get too close to people (they are considered introverted but loud and noisy birds) so, getting an up close and personal look at them. Catching them in action on your camera should suffice.

There are countless places for birding activities and they include some far-flung places (but they are worth visiting, though, because some offer more than just the opportunity to chill with the birds but also some wine-tasting and hiking) like Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Oak Flat Campground, Burro Creek Recreation Area and also not forgetting places like Desert Botanical Garden, Pima Canyon and Gilbert Ponds. Get a guide if you are traveling and doing this alone. Another great option would be to take on a photo tour on the Riparian Preserve right along the Water Ranch. The Preserve is managed by a group of environmentally-friendly activists from the Town of Gilbert. Once you are done with bird watching and taking photos, a respite can be found at the nearby lake and do some fishing.

So, don’t miss the chance to get up close and personal...not with the birds, but at least with Mother Nature.

When Is The Best Time To Visit Houston

Tuesday, February 12. 2013

With blessed sunny weather all year round, there is no ‘best time’ to visit Houston, technically speaking and the tourism industry reflects the fact that locals who dread the dreary wet winter in their hometowns naturally picks Houston as their favorite city to visit. In fact, with the warm, pleasant weather and affordable pricing across the board, Houston has become a quick getaway option for people from all over the world, all year round. However, even with that said, there seems to be a surge of tourists during spring and autumn months when the temperature is less hot and humid, which makes heading outdoors without sunscreen, umbrella or raincoat possible.

During summer months, when the weather is particularly punishing, local Houston residents like to rent a charter bus together with their family and friends for some cooling off at the Gulf of Mexico, slightly down south. This practice is popular during summer because that is when the kids get off school for months for their summer break and parents who are looking for some serious R and R decide to take their kids for a short vacation.

Suffice to say, it pays to plan ahead of time for your vacation because this means that you will know what to expect and know precisely what you want to explore when you are here. Visitors can expect throngs of people in Houston during the months of March, April, May, October and November. The number of people and tourists tend to dwindle down in December and January.

Though Houston is a huge tourist magnet for the country, there is always a rise in the number of party bus visitors when there is a special event or festival going on, like special promotions or sporting events. And of course, with a large city like Houston, there are events all year round. The most popular festive periods of Houston are the Livestock Show and Rodeo, which is popular because the nature of the show is absolutely unique to the locals! Let’s face it, when it comes to rodeo, no one does it better than the cities in and around Texas. Of course, there is also the Holiday Parade during Thanksgiving, which is one of the largest and liveliest in the country.

During summer, Houston vacationers will usually head to suburb towns and neighborhoods to enjoy a cooling time with their family and friends at places like Clear Lake and Galveston. We would like to note that while hotels and other large establishments remain open during public holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving, others are not; it is best to confirm via phone call or email. And to save yourself some money, some larger establishments offer packages and special promotions during special events so, check the travel guide or website for the details.

Vision Quest Metaphysical Bookstore

Thursday, January 17. 2013

Tell your friends that you want to visit a psychic because a vacation is coming up, or your wedding is around the corner or you have a special anniversary to celebrate might have your friends either laugh or frown at you. But let's look at it from a different perspective, it is fun; you don't have to believe it to play the game, you see. In fact, most people go to a psychic for the sheer fun of it or they just want to 'confirm' that the things that psychic 'saw' is not real in the first place. And if the predictions are untrue, you might sit around with your friends and share your story with them. Anyhow, if you are around Phoenix for your party bus vacation, there is a bookstore that specializes in psychic books and they offer special classes, sessions and products as well. Go there with an open heart and do as much as you believe.

The psychic store that we are talking about is, Vision Quest Metaphysical Bookstore located along N. Scottsdale Rd., It is the largest store of its kind, not just around the Greater Phoenix area, but also in the state of Arizona. We are talking about a store of 10,000 square foot! In all sincerity, it is not a store for the 'crazies' because you can find loads of interesting new age stuff there as well and they cover topics and products related to astrology, jewelry, precious stones, greeting cards, herbs, tarot cards, feng shui and statues as well. Just stepping into the store will automatically give you some sort of calm.

The store also offer classes and courses for those who are interested...including classes for aura photography, which is a really interesting modern topic right now. The owners of the store have gone on to organize, stage, participate and also host large new age events in and around Phoenix, which sometimes calls for rental of large Phoenix party bus rental services. If an author is in town, the store would help host and promote the author's fan signing and meeting events for them, which includes inclusion of a short mention in their physical and digital newsletters.

Make no mistake about it – many modern folks half-believe the method because they don't see any damage if they followed the advice of these experts. As long as they keep their expectations realistic, we don't have to be labeled with names if we decide to have some fun with their methods. Or else, just go with an open heart, that is all.

Outdoor Summer Fun In Phoenix

Monday, June 4. 2012

When it comes to outdoor fun, Phoenix is kind of really hard to beat. For example, if you are here with your family and friends during the summer, try hitting up a aerobatic adventure in the sky. Not many people have ever felt what it really feels like when a plane is upside-down in the middle of the sky and we think that it will bring you many amazing memories to bring home with you. The aerobatic adventure flight is available at Fighter Combat International in Mesa.

And as mentioned, space is what Phoenix has to offer and what better way to train your strength and agility than to have some ATV fun outdoor. The ATVs can be rented although you might want to check the machines out to ensure that they are reliable, well-oiled, is of a reputable brand and can stand your weight and the terrain. Bring an experienced person with you if you are a newbie to this sport. If heading out to the terrain in a group, give us a call right now to get the right Phoenix party bus limousine rental package as transportation.

The great thing is that you can have your own choice of bikes, 2-seaters (for those who prefer to be passengers), 4-seaters (for those who prefer to be in a larger group) and of course, the Utility Terrain Vehicles, also known as UTVs.

Now is the perfect time to plan your summer vacation in Phoenix.
