‘I didn’t get to enjoy Washington DC much the last time I was there because there wasn’t much to do besides partying, shopping and of course, all the historical sites. One can only take so much shopping and eating,’ laments Tina Fey, a business consultant from NYC.
Tina is not the only person who finds Washington DC a little bit on the dull side but this is only because out-of-towners may not know where to find the best things to do and even if they DO hit the internet to find them, all they find are some really touristy places that they quickly place into their itinerary. What can be fun is to organize a group trip with your favorite friends and some family members using party bus rental.
Washington dc is full of fun and exciting places and here are some that you might want to put down on your list of things to do in Washington DC if you are heading out over here.
If you have kids with you during the party bus trip, then a visit to The National Air and Space Museum is a total MUST! Not only will they get the chance to come face-to-face and nose-to-nose with amazing machines like the Apollo 11 and lunar rocks, there are plenty of other kid-friendly hands-on activities for them too. Such is the luxury of using party bus rental.
Washington DC also brings you places like the Great Falls Park which is a popular park with locals and out-of-town visitors alike. The park is open from dawn to dusk and is, of course, completely free of charge unless you are coming in with non-commercial vehicles whereby there is a $5 admission charge. Since you will be heading over in a party bus, it’s free for all of you to enjoy the wonderful weather, beautiful scenery and do some much-needed catching up with your loved ones. The park is also incredibly romantic too, especially during summer evenings. If parking and driving is worrying you, it makes sense to just use party bus rental.
Washington DC is also the historical and cultural backbone of the country, therefore, we see a need for everyone to at the very least take some nice pictures at some of these international shrines of recognition. We are talking about places like the Franciscan Monastery and Garden, Chinatown, National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Mexican Cultural Institute and also not forgetting the Alliance Francaise de Washington.
As you can very well see, if you made the effort to find unconventional things to do in the heart of the country, you can, regardless of whether you are going to be using party bus rental or not. Washington DC is really a wonderful place to be in, to explore, to learn to love and understand.
