Nice or Naughty – Planning A Bachelorette Party Ideas

Thursday, March 13. 2008

You’ll be surprised at the direction we’re heading today….in this modern world, brides or brides-to-be are preferring nice to naughty where their bachelorette parties are concerned. While men continue to stay on with the naughty antics during their stag nights, many women feel that they don’t have to conform to the ‘naughty’ rules of bachelorette parties. “I felt like I was pressured to have strippers come to my bachelorette party or have someone jump out of the cake or a cardboard box during my party. But it’s so cliché and not surprising anymore! During one of my friend’s bachelorette parties, we had a really clean themed bachelorette party and it was even more fun because the element of surprise was maintained. We really did planned it right right down to the T”, says Tina, a thirty-something mother of one.

Boston MA prom – get some ideas from celebrities on how to find the right prom hair-do

Monday, February 11. 2008

There’s really more than just hiring a hairstylist or driving to your favorite hair salon for your prom hair-do. Although your favorite Boston MA hair stylist should know your hair, your preferences and what’s right for you, it’s a good idea to get some fresh ideas for your Boston MA prom from the celebrities. What’s the latest and newest trend in hairstyles? What are the things you need to do to your hair in order to get ready for your Boston MA prom? Should you try something new this year or go for the conventional and ‘safe’ chiffon bun?

Short hair despair
If you have short hair, don’t despair! A short bob with lots of shine and gloss can make the perfect hair-do for a Boston MA prom too! Think sleek, smart, chic, fun and energetic! I love donning short hair for special events and sometimes I think chopping off the long tresses gives people a fresh look. Everyone’s going to be going to the Boson MA prom in elaborate hairstyles and you might just stand out by pampering your hair a little bit with a masque, then moisturize it with some oil, sleek it back with mousse or gel….and you’re done! The key to wearing the short hair for your Boston MA prom is to keep it neat and tidy.

So you want to look like Justin Timberlake during your bachelor party

Friday, January 4. 2008

Rent a limousine, wear a nice well-ironed tux and look like Justin Timberlake in one of his steamy sexy MTVs? Not so easy, blokes. As difficult as it is for us gals to wake up looking like Angelina Jolie, let’s be reminded (and humbled here into remembering) that looking like a super star for a bachelor or bachelorette party takes helluva lot of work! Some of them go through months of pampering to get their glowing skin and not-a-strip-out-of-place and painful routines just to look the way they look when they’re walking the red carpet. As far as bachelor parties and bacheleorette parties are concerned, admittedly, it’s easier for the girls to do it for the prom.

Thursday, December 6. 2007

Bachelor parties are meant to be as whacky and wild as possible, so, this just gives you an extra reason to get completely wild during your own bachelor party. Listen, this is a once-in-a-lifetime affair and if you want to make it memorable, do everything outside of the book. Think outside of the box and let your hair down. That is why you bachelor party is supposed to be the one time (last time, actually) you're going to be allowed to throw (reasonable) caution to the wind!

Invite your friends to your bachelorette party in style

Monday, November 12. 2007

Sending out invitation cards for a bachelorette party is a little unusual but it will make the bachelorette party seem grander. Furthermore, later on, the bachelorette can look back and remember the fun she had during her bachelorette party. A good keepsake.

Designing and printing your own bachelorette party invitation cards
You can design and print your own invitation cards if you want but it works only if you have basic design knowledge. The best software to use for designing such things is Adobe Photoshop for picture illustrations, special effects and all that. If you're thinking of drawing up a very customized and personal invitation card, you'll need to learn another new program, the Adobe Illustrator.

Pros: Very personal and memorable. Something you can look back fondly on Cons: VERY time consuming and could be a tiring affair

Since when are limousines and bachelor parties associated with each other?

Friday, November 2. 2007

It was a hot evening a couple of nights ago and after dinner, I sat around in the cafe with a glass of wine in hand and watching people go about their business. Behind, the sun peeked out from behind gray clouds and then suddenly, we heard loud laughing piercing through the still of the night. It was a bachelor party limousine rolling by with a bunch of guys hanging their heads out of rolled down windows having the time of their lives. Apparently, this bunch of guys was having a bachelor party and from the looks of it, they were going at it full force. You know the moment you see guys get wasted early in the evening and behaving in a boisterous behavior riding around in a limousine, there's a bachelor party going on somewhere.

An adventure-filled bachelor party

Friday, October 26. 2007

Although I’m not privy to bachelor parties (for very obvious reasons….please read name….LADY) but I sure as hell can give you tons of ideas on what to do for a bachelor party if you want to keep things clean. I mean, sure, I know most bachelor parties end up in a strip joint and giving the bachelor a hard time but well….short of saying that I am aging prune (which I am not!) you can make it clean, fun and memorable. And yet, when you plan the bachelor party this way, everybody gets to have some fun too as opposed to a designated driver keeping sober. And no one gets plastered.
