LA Crawfish (Vietnamese Food in Houston)

Sunday, June 16. 2013

houston party bus rental

Craving for Vietnamese food but not feeling like eating the conventional fast-food type for dinner? Well, then it is time to be a little adventurous with LA Crawfish. People mill in and out of the Unit B-2 Memorial neighborhood food court without ever noticing how unique the crawfish here is, assuming that it is your regular Vietnamese dish. But boy, can we all be more wrong than making this very simple assumption. There is a world of difference between the conventional Vietnamese food and the ones to be found at LA Crawfish.

This quaint restaurant is tucked inside of a Chinese grocery store along Ranch Market, it might seem like a very unassuming diner. But come meal time, the place will be packed to the hilt with waiting, eager customers. The bad part about the premise is that it is not as big as it should and could be so, during peak hours, there would be long lines.

And that is the great thing with a multi-ethnic place like Houston...it is energetic, warm, and there is a very enjoyable diversity in terms of people, culture, language, the arts, and of course, food. One would expect LA Crawfish to be filled with Asian people or tourists, at least but that cannot be further from the truth. The ambiance is comfortable, welcoming and the wait staff are incredibly helpful when customers are confused or do not know what to order from their extensive menu.

Surprisingly, there is a wide variety of food that customers can pick to eat together with their Vietnamese noodles, not just crawfish although that is their selling point. Customers have come, eaten, and said that it is a mish-mash of a couple of cultures and countries. You see food that is suitable for Americans, Chinese, Thai, and of course, Vietnamese. Considering the fact that these Asian cultures DO enjoy somewhat similar food (cooked with different spices and methods), it makes perfect sense to bring them all into one simple menu.

This kid-friendly restaurant is open everyday from 10am in the morning right up to 9.30pm after serving their last customers who are there for their dinner. There is a private parking lot for their customers but luckily for our Houston party bus rental customers, there isn’t a need to hunt down one for yourself. The diner is perfect for small gatherings too when it is off-peak hours but the bad news is that they do not allow reservations of tables so, customers would indeed have to be on time to be in the line.

It is the perfect Houston party bus charter bus stop for when you are absolutely feeling adventurous and craving for something a little different during your party bus charter vacation.

The Moody Church (Chicago IL)

Sunday, June 9. 2013

chicago church tourist rented charter bus

Being a community church, The Moody Church is a very society-led religious landmark in Chicago IL and they revel in the ability to continue spreading the message and bringing people together. Tourists are invited for tours and join in on their service all the time and one does not have to be a Christian in order to enjoy the pristine and peaceful ambiance in the church. The church comprises of a culturally-diverse background so there are no restrictions about who can join them or tour the building site.

The church has a long history that goes back to 1864 and they have been working hard in transforming lives and people since then. This inspiring story alone should be reason enough to make a short Chicago charter bus rental stop for a quick tour. The church’s gorgeous interior decor and architecture serves as a nice backdrop for pictures too. The attraction has been drawing much attention and love from the online and local community alike and it is located at the intersection of North Avenue which criss-crosses with LaSalle Drive and north of Chicago. Suffice to say, the building is completely wheelchair-friendly.

For those who intend to join their Sunday morning service, please take note that there is usually quite a large crowd at the church - we are talking about more than two thousand people from all walks of life who will be congregating inside the building for the ninety-minute service. Visitors who are here for the Chicago charter bus rental tour are given nifty little packets and booklets to take home with them. The informational packet serves as a nice little souvenir too!

Some Chicago charter bus rental visitors felt bad about not contributing when the basket is passed around but bear in mind that donations is completely optional and will not be seen as rude. The church makes it a point to keep in touch with people who have toured the premises by encouraging them to fill out Connection Cards and they actively make use of online social networking accounts too, so they have their own Twitter and Facebook accounts.

So, what should we expect when we finally get the chance to bring the rented Chicago party bus to The Moody Church? Amazing music, inspiring service and an informational tour of the building and church. There is a very old-school feel to the church, perhaps, all thanks to the old-fashioned theatre seats that seems to have stopped the hands of time.

The feeling is always warm, friendly, welcoming and most importantly, inclusive.

St. Augustine Wild Reserve (Florida)

Wednesday, June 5. 2013

florida party bus rental tourist attraction

The little ones may not appreciate the noble actions, decisions and sacrifices made by the owners of this non-profit wildlife organization but they will most definitely appreciate coming up close and personal with some of the world’s most beloved exotic wildlife. The kind of animals they are caring for belong to species that we have only heard and read about and most of us may never have seen. This is your chance to come learn something new about these animals at the St. Augustine Wild Reserve.

The thing about visiting St. Augustine Wild Reserve is that the reserve is not open to public and they only offer Florida party bus rental visitors a tour of the place when the tour is booked through an appointment for the group. The animals’ welfare is always at the top of their list of priorities, therefore, they will only permit entrance to those who are genuinely looking for a chance to learn more and care for the exotic animals. These rescued exotic wildlife creatures are also protected from photography and filming because it is believed that some of the said animals feel irritated by the filming. That is sad news for photography enthusiasts but the good news is that the organization offer charter bus rental visitors a CD filled with amazingly gorgeous pictures of the rescued creatures at the end of the tour.

The tours are usually held on Saturday and Wednesday afternoons around 2pm, the timing is set based on, once again, the animals’ welfare. For guests who feel that the rules and restrictions are stifling, the organizers are acting diligently to provide the best possible environment for these kind creatures of capture but they WILL try to customize your Florida charter bus rental tour visit if given enough notice ahead of time.

The animals are kept safe within the 7 acre worth of property and guests are given a guided tour through the place while learning about the different species, where they came from, openly discuss about the details of the sanctuary and specifics about handling them. Some Florida charter bus rental visitors said that they were completely in awe when they got the chance to come really close to a few African lions. Guests can expect similar African exotic wildlife like White Tigers (they never fail to cause amazement), Krishna, Toruk and cougars as well. The sheer number of wolves of different colors, shapes and sizes is astonishing!

The organizers emphasized again that the reserve is a non-profit organization and whatever admission fee that is charged to the visitors goes back to providing for the rescued exotic animals. Instead of opting for Euthanasia when the previous owners of these wildlife find it difficult to care for them anymore, they are sent to this shelter instead.

So, by making a quick Florida party bus rental stop at this reserve, you are doing your bit in contributing towards the welfare of these creatures of the wild.

National Crime Museum (Washington DC)

Monday, June 3. 2013

washington dc party bus limousine rental

Good Morning America called it a must for fans of popular American crime series CSI for a very good reason. The National Crime Museum, although not as new and updated as other similar museums around Washington DC, it continues to be most documented Washington DC museum there is and we strongly encourage our Washington DC party bus rental customers to spend a couple of hours at this attraction going through the wide ranging types of activities.

The museum’s main aim is to educate people about the history of crime and the punishments carried out for various specific crimes, a true eye-opener for some of us who are glued to the TV whenever a crime show is on. In the spotlight are some high profile cases, the museum gives visitors a chance to have a closer look at the stories of rescue and police investigation.

While the younger kids might not be interested in the posters and exhibits, we guarantee you that teenagers are going to have a splendid time looking around learning more about high speed police chases and exploring the artifacts related to real life criminals.

The museum is not your ordinary crime museum because the management and officials behind this amazing Washington DC party bus rental attraction is that they organize regular yearly events (namely the Cherry Blossom Festival), have a very updated audio tour program, run an active forensic workshop and manages to put up some exciting crime movie screening. In fact, if you feel like you wish to contribute towards their crime prevention mission, let them know that you would like to do something for the victims of the crimes and also help find missing people, especially children.

In a way, the Crime Museum is a place where tribute is paid to those who were involved in solving those mysteries. The heroes who helped bring justice to America are introduced to curious Washington DC party bus rental visitors while giving them a chance to venture into a whole new world...namely, the dark side of the criminal mind. The venture into the criminal mind will leave most visitors’ minds’ blown because it is an interactive activity that lets you in on a world that most normal folks like you and me know.

The crime scene lab introduces new technology used in crime solving while an interactive FBI shooting range intrigues and excites the mind of guests who are familiar with these scenes only on television.

The history of punishments, in the meantime, brings visitors all the way back into medieval times when criminals were punished in damp dungeons using the harshest methods known to man. For those who are interested in visiting the museum together with your family and friends, please do not hesitate to get in touch with US Coachways Inc. for your Washington DC party bus rental needs.

Palace of Sweets Adventure Race (NJ)

Sunday, May 26. 2013

new jersey party bus limousine rental

The kids won’t be able to resist it, especially little girls. Why? Just by simply walking by the center is going to bring out the squeals from the kids because it is a maze, it looks fun with the neon blinking lights and there are images and sweets and candy related decorations and items on the exterior of the building. Sweets and little kids, as we all know it, are quite inseparable especially when they are on a New Jersey charter bus rental holiday together with their family and friends. The Palace of Sweets is located in Wildwood New Jersey and they have been built based on one single theme - candy.

When designing the mirror mazes, the purpose was clear that they wanted the little ones to feel like they are entering a Palace of Sweets and suffice to say, the objective has been achieved. There is also an interesting story that goes along with the maze and games.

Once upon a time, there was a Prince and Princess who lived in this candy-themed castle. The Prince and Princess were instructed to learn all they can ever learn about making sweets before they are allowed to eat more of them and with that, the royal siblings set off on a quest to learn more about candy-making.

Upon entering the maze, visitors will feel like they are stepping into the shoes of those royal siblings and embarking on the same quest as they share, explore, challenge and learn all they can about candy-making while playing the games available in the Dark Forest. The destination, the children are told, is none other than Candy Glade. It is one of the most kid-friendly New Jersey charter bus rental tourist attractions there is in this part of NJ.

All in all, the games are not only fun for your offspring, even the grownups are going to have a field day with the consistently glowing lights, freaky reflections in the mirrors and the music is going to keep the mood going the whole day through.

It was said that the admission fee is a little too pricey for a single location/game/center but we think that the smile on the little ones’ faces is going to make it all worthwhile. The admission is, by the way, an all-day pass which means that visitors are allowed to repeatedly come in for another round even after they are done exploring the maze! There will be many things going on at the same time throughout the journey and we are sure that the kids are going to want to come back in for a second or third time just to see if they have missed something.

Palace of Sweets will make a fantastic birthday destination or summer vacation hotspot for families who are traveling in New Jersey in their rented charter bus for the first time.

Local Manhattan Flavor in These Manhattan Live Bars (NYC)

Tuesday, May 21. 2013

NYC party bus LIVE bar entertainment

Despite being known for having the most theaters and broadway showcases, there is no shortage of bars with LIVE music in New York city as well. There is something very different about going to a pub with LIVE music...especially when we have talented artistes and comedians up on stage who are geared to entertain the night away.

A good place to head to with the rented charter bus for a bar crawl or a bachelor party bus get-together is a place called Bowery Ballroom located along Delancey St. between Kenmare St and Bowery, to be exact. The bar is open from 6pm till late into the night, officially it closes at 2am but the bar for most parts remain open because of the patrons and party-goers. The bar has ample space and can accommodate gatherings and large groups so, give them a call if a private space is what you are looking for. The best time to head over to Bowery is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. As it turns out, the main ballroom area has tons of space so that patrons can let their hair down and put on their dancing shoes for some serious dancing when they want to.

Gay bars are not exclusive to the LGBT community because bars like Marie’s Crisis have very regular, friendly and welcoming visitors too. The loyal customers know how to have more fun than anyone else, really. If that is what you are interested in seeing and experiencing during your New York City party bus rental tour vacation, then as soon as the sun starts setting, tell the charter bus driver that you would like to head to Marie’s Crisis on Grove St. in the West Village neighborhood. It is one of those friendly LIVE bar entertainment outlet that is loved in all of Manhattan and the good thing about Marie’s Crisis is that there is no cover charge.

You know how ‘Cheers’ the series made famous local bars with friendly people? How about the cafe that the friends in ‘Friends’ go to for their regular get-togethers? Well, yes, Marie’s Crisis is like that on most nights. A place for friends to hang around and catch up over a couple of drinks while enjoying LIVE entertainment.

The Happy Hour rate during weekday is unbelievable, the drinks are strong. The brew is a sure bet in loosening those knotted muscles that a long and tiring day at work may have caused. And remember to give us a call if a large gathering is what you are organizing. We can't wait to be a part of your party!

River Fest (Connecticut)

Sunday, May 19. 2013

connecticut party bus rental attractions

For those who are new to Connecticut might find it odd that the residents are so proud and fond of their river Connecticut...but the authorities have always played a huge role in accentuating the fact that the river is a connecting point between the metropolitan Connecticut society and nature. All year round, there are fun activities, games, festivals, gatherings, promotions and kid-friendly exhibitions being held at the river but come July 6, 2013, it would once again be time for jaw-dropping, gorgeous fireworks. It is River Fest time!

For one, admission or watching the games and contests being held during this festival is completely free of charge, there is no admission fee. At the venue along the river, there are activities like lumber jack competition, live entertainment, kids activities, rowing competition and also a spectacular water ski show that never fails to awe even people who have seen the shows year after year.

The fireworks, which is the highlight of the festival, is usually scheduled to go off at the strike of 9pm on that night so, be there early if you want to reserve a space for your family and friends. The festival is official on the road at 4pm sharp. If the entrance at Mortensen Riverfront Plaza is packed, we reckon you can get in more easily through the Great River Park entrance. Just get the Connecticut party bus driver to drop you off in East Hartford.

For this year’s participants, there is something new to look forward to - a new UConn Timber Sports competition which will see lumberjacks show off their unique techniques which includes modern and traditional techniques. For urbanites, this is quite an eye-opening experience, to be honest. It is exciting to watch them saw it off using different techniques but it goes to show that despite it being a profession that few people actually know or care about, they are completely in control of their work and the techniques are jaw-droppingly accurate. This year, there will be men and women in the mixed team contest and they will be fighting for the coveted titles this year.

Another highlighted feature of River Fest is the water ski show. The ski show is done by none other than the Oxbow team of performers who are all pumped to show off their best moves for the pyramids, ballet, skiing, and jetski shows.

At the point of writing this, the schedule’s not been updated and we suggest that our Connecticut party bus rental customers check their website at RiverFront.org for detailed itinerary and show schedules.

Getting Serious About Pampering Before Prom or Wedding

Thursday, May 16. 2013

denver wedding limousine advice spas and salons

Is your prom creeping up on you and you are wondering if this is the right time to book yourself in for a spa session? Or maybe you are all stressed out about your upcoming wedding reception and are desperately in need of some really good pampering. If that is the case, we have some spas and salons recommended for you, our loyal Denver party bus rental customers and blog readers. Bear in mind that you will need to read up on the online reviews on your own before heading over because everyone’s perception, review and feedback is different - hence, we encourage you to read up on the suggestions before heading over.

We have heard random raving reviews about Voila Salon, Spa and Parfumerie which is located along Curtis St in the Five Points neighborhood. Professionalism and experience is an important thing to consider when it comes to spa selection. You are entrusting a stranger with your face, skin, hair and nails. You need to know that the people are well-trained about delivering on their promise. The people at Voila Spa are apparently well-trained to start work on complete strangers because they let you pick the stylist that you want, even if you are a walk-in who have never been there before. So, there is no preferential treatment to contend with. What is important is that the staff are thought to listen to your thoughts, requirements AND pay attention to your worries. After listening to what you have to say, the staff will give you a couple of suggestions to ponder and there you have it....your new look!

We know that planning for a prom Denver party bus gathering can be stressful and you know what stress can do to your skin, so book yourself in for a series of skim pampering session about a week before the wedding reception. If possible book a day spa which means a WHOLE DAY worth of proper TLC! A much deserved one, we are sure. We have heard from our party bus rental customers that you can get exactly that, for a fraction of the usual price, at Synergy Salon and Spa. Apart from the day spa, book up their individual massage sessions that last for sixty or ninety minute pampering sessions. If you need to add more time, you can add up with fifteen minute block time upgrade.

Don’t let the stress of organizing a prom or wedding affect the way you look on your special day. Please do book the wedding limousine through our special Denver party bus limousine rental packages so that we can take the load of ground transportation off of you. We hope to hear from you real soon.

Unwind Like A Phoenix Local, Bird Watching (Phoenix)

Tuesday, May 14. 2013

phoenix party bus activities attractions rental

It has been said before (but we will say it again), if you want to the dirty details about a locality, the best way to do it is...to do it THEIR way, instead of doing the touristy thing that most of the time aimed at foreign visitors. But if the curious you is starting to get just a wee bit tired of the fanfare, then give this a shot - bird-watching.

And the locals call the bird-watching activity ‘birding’ and it is one of the most popular ‘sport’ in the state of Arizona. Phoenix locals are also quick to jump at the chance to go birding with their best pals during the weekends or off days. The reason behind why the activity is popular is because of the multifaceted terrain that is so Phoenix and this fact lends to the fact that birds flock over seasonally. On last count, according to experts, there are now more than five hundred different species of birds right here in Phoenix alone.

If you have a local tour guide to help you out, he or she may help you catch sight or catch on photograph the Arizona state bird called the cactus wren. The name tells you that the beak on this bird is curved but they are quite small birds, making it hard to catch without a good pair of binoculars. You don’t need to climb very hike up very far because the birds prefer to make their homes where it is four thousand in elevation. They don’t like to get too close to people (they are considered introverted but loud and noisy birds) so, getting an up close and personal look at them. Catching them in action on your camera should suffice.

There are countless places for birding activities and they include some far-flung places (but they are worth visiting, though, because some offer more than just the opportunity to chill with the birds but also some wine-tasting and hiking) like Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Oak Flat Campground, Burro Creek Recreation Area and also not forgetting places like Desert Botanical Garden, Pima Canyon and Gilbert Ponds. Get a guide if you are traveling and doing this alone. Another great option would be to take on a photo tour on the Riparian Preserve right along the Water Ranch. The Preserve is managed by a group of environmentally-friendly activists from the Town of Gilbert. Once you are done with bird watching and taking photos, a respite can be found at the nearby lake and do some fishing.

So, don’t miss the chance to get up close and personal...not with the birds, but at least with Mother Nature.

Slice Pizzeria Restaurant (Fort Lauderdale)

Monday, May 13. 2013

fort lauderdale party bus rental pizza eatery

After a night out with your friends and family members, whether you are there for a large birthday gathering, a wedding anniversary, a business socializing event, a bachelor or bachelorette party, one thing is for sure…food sounds like a good idea. While there are many eateries in and around the downtown Fort Lauderdale area that remain open to the public after the sun has gone down because they wish to cater to pub crawlers and party goers, word has it that Slice Pizzeria Restaurant is quite hard to beat.

As far as location is concerned, it is on the dot because it is parked right smack in the middle of Shoppes at City Park which makes it easy to find. The restaurant is located on SE 1st Street. But that also means you will need to get in as early as you can if a table is what you are looking for. The joint is open in the early hours of the morning for breakfast and later on, for lunch.

The restaurant manages to balance out quality and pricing and they have it down pat as far as portion is concerned. If you there for the first time, give their gourmet sandwiches a shot…it is hard to go wrong with their Roast Turkey with brie, in fact. Absolutely mouth-watering! Other popular options include their Roast beef and blue cheese where every bite is said to be delectable and heavenly. While the attention should be given to the main dish, we reckon you might want to give their soups a try too…and they have many to choose from. From Thai chicken curry (if you have the palate for spicy stuff in the morning) to Tomato Bisque, there are soups of all kinds in their menu.

Don’t know what to order form the large number of options? Worry not, the friendly staff will not hesitate to point you in the right direction. After all, they know best about which item on their menu is fast-selling. The best thing about Slice Pizzeria is the price – it’s affordable and caters for large group gatherings. The unfortunate thing about having a group gathering in Slice Pizzeria is that they do not take bookings. But all is well if you head over bright and early first thing they open for business at 10am, then. If you are wondering if Slice is kid-friendly, the answer is a resounding ‘yes’. In fact, looking at the things that they have on the menu, the kids might end up falling move in love with it than the grownups are!

Have a good time during your Fort Lauderdale party bus visit!
