The Many Different Sides To San Antonio Nightlife
Apr 22, 2013 - When it comes right down to having fun, letting your hair down and making the most out of your bachelor or bachelorette party in downtown San Antonio, there is no denying the fact that there is an abundance of options in San Antonio. After decades of development and pumping of funds into the tourism and travel industry by the local administrations and authorities, San Antonio, just like many other large and thriving cities in the United States enjoys a highly vibrant and lively night scene. So, if you are looking for a good charter bus travel destination in San Antonio, here are some suggestions from our San Antonio party bus rental customers and event organizers.
When it comes to brewing the right drinks, Blue Star Brewing Company breathes a breath of fresh air into the night scene. The location may not be easy to find as it is not located right smack in the middle of the downtown strip but tucked in the middle of some galleries and office spaces, but we assure you that when you DO find the place, it promises a whole host of refreshing delicious concoction of drinks that you may not have even heard about or of. The decor is also something that our customers talk a lot about. Instead of presenting their visitors with the usual chic and hip decor and atmosphere, the place sells you the idea of lacquered wood walls and absolutely very high ceiling which makes one feel like they are having some private drinks with their friends in a warehouse...or something similar. From bitter or sweet to fruity to vinegar-ish, their brews of beer is exciting and tantalizes the taste buds all night long.
Not losing out on good reviews from visitors is Flying Saucer, a brewery located on Huebner Rd. which boasts of a beer menu of more than three hundred different variety of beers! What is different about drinking at Flying Saucer for your event or party is that the brewery draws inspiration from other cultures and country, therefore, drinking is simply far more fun and sublimely exciting all at the same time. On the menu, before making your decision, guests are given the low-down about what to expect from the beer that they are about to order.
We understand that some people prefer to have their San Antonio party bus event in a more classy and elegant place - for that, bring the rented charter bus to Hotel Valencia’s VBar. Settled in a more cosmopolitan corner of San Antonio, the bar caters to high end customers who are more accustomed to serving discerning foreign tourists, business folks and professionals who are more into mingling and discussing business deals.
Whispering Waters Day Spa
Feb 18, 2013 - Is your wedding creeping up around the corner and you are all stressed out about it? Have you just met up with old friends and just want to hang out together for the day, being pampered and sharing some TLC? Or perhaps you are getting anxious about an upcoming prom and you want to look your absolute best? Well, then if you are in San Antonio, then the best place for that kind of R and R would be Whispering Waters Day Spa. The spa caters for special events and packages too, so we encourage our San Antonio party bus rental customers to check their official website for indepth information before heading over.
“We book a party bus before prom night so that we can chill out together before getting ready for a great time during prom night so, we took it to the day spa and it was an amazing half-day non-stop pampering experience! Will do it again very soon in the very near future...with the same friends, of course,’ gushes Lainey, who knows exactly what it takes to make turn a stressful day around.
The day spa is exceptionally well-equipped with hot tubs, saunas, packages for facials, scrubs, pampering treatments in a relaxing environment. The facility is naturally very well-designed so much so that one would automatically feel relaxed the moment they step foot into the day spa. It is like taking the stress and worries of the day off your shoulders and placing them right outside the door!
Unlike other day spas that makes people feel like they are rushed to make a decision, this is not the same with Whispering Waters. They let you take your time about which package you want to take and the staff even offered their professional advice based on your personal needs and preferences. There is a recognition that your priorities are their number one priority, as opposed to which package would make them the most profit.
As you move from one treatment to another, guests are allowed to share the facility with their friends, making bonding and sharing sessions possible. However, we encourage guests and visitors to give them a call to ask about availability before actually heading over in order to avoid disappointment.
What completely hooked customers is how complete the whole treatment in...customers are treated to snacks and a nice cup of tea while relaxing on a chaise lounge without being rushed or ushered anywhere in a hurry. Basically, people are allowed to relax and unwind at their own pace.
Sounds like a great place to visit right before an important event, doesn’t it?
Tower of Americas (San Antonio)
Nov 19, 2012 - Looking for a great place for that romantic date? Or maybe you are just hunting down on a good restaurant to bring your family and friends during Christmas or New Year's Eve? Perhaps your boss have just asked you for a recommendation on where to have the company dinner? We have a great recommendation for you – that would be none other than the Tower of Americas!
When it comes right down to giving its patrons a fantastic view, fabulous mouth-watering good food and a 360 degree view of the whole San Antonio downtown area, nothing beats this magnificent popular downtown landmark. Standing at seven hundred and fifty foot tall tower, this has been one of San Antonio's biggest tourist attractions ever, and it became even more famous after they introduced a thrilling 4D theater ride. But we suggest that you come over for the ride and then the observation deck before going for the food.
Some tourists came back to us and said that the ride up in the glass elevator was already an exciting one in itself so the 4D ride just adds more to the adventure. Whip out the cameras (or the phones or tablets, if you have them with you) so that can bring the special moments and memories that you have captured with your devices home with you or post it up on online social networking sites to show and share with your online family and friends who couldn't make it for the trip – it would make such an amazing conversation starter for when you guys DO actually get the opportunity to meet up. The elevator, we must warn, is made completely from glass which includes the floor. You would be looking down to see seven hundred feet of sheer nothingness...sometimes not for the faint-hearted, we venture. All in all, there is plenty of fun to be had at the observation deck and rides and then you can end the whole visit with amazing options for dinner.
