Of course, you simply must start by taking the limousine to Mount Rushmore, which is considered a sacred place to people from many different cultures and countries. To some it reflects Patriotism; to others it reflects the natural beauty of our nation, or a great work of art, and yet to others it presents a challenge for them to begin to share their own cultures. Take some time with your limousine buddies to discuss what this means to you.
After Mount Rushmore, take some time to visit the Crazy Horse Monument. The locals call the monument the "Fifth Face" in the Black Hills. The sculpture of the legendary Lakota Chief Crazy Horse began with the dedication of the work on June 3, 1948. Work still continues now, nearly a half a century later. The chief's face is 9 stories high and has been completed and work has now begun on carving the horse's head, which is 22 stories high. Korczak Ziolkowski began the sculpture, and his widow, sons, and daughters now carry it on. The mountain sculpture memorial is dedicated to all American Indians. Sioux Chief Henry Standing Bear wrote Ziolkowski in 1939 "My fellow chiefs and I would like the white man to know the red man has great heroes, too," Sioux Chief Henry Standing Bear wrote Ziolkowski in 1939. Seven years later, the sculptor agreed and began carving the colossal work. When the sculpture is completed, Crazy Horse will sit astride his mount, pointing over his stallion's head to the sacred Black Hills. The sculpture is to be so large, that all four presidents from Mount Rushmore would fit in Crazy Horse's head.
While you are driving by the site on the highway in your limousine, you and your limousine buddies may hear dynamite blasts. This is a surefire signal that work on the mountain carving is progressing. One of the most impressive events in the Black Hills is when night blasts are detonated.
While you are here, in addition to viewing the monument, and the display about the work, you and your limousine buddies may want to visit the Indian Museum of North America at Crazy Horse, which is home to one of the most extensive collections of American Indian artifacts in the country.
Once you're done in the Black Hills your limousine chauffeur will take you and your buddies back home, while you relax and discuss all of the things you and your group saw that day, while riding home in the style and luxury of a limousine.
