Limousine Excursions in Wisconsin

Take a limousine tour of the Wisconsin Dells in a fabulous limousine! Make sure to bring along a group of limousine buddies!

The Wisconsin Dells are the state's biggest tourist attraction. You and your limousine buddies can observe the region's natural beauty from April to October on Dells Boat Tours; or aboard World War II amphibious "ducks" at Original Wisconsin Ducks. Both of these attractions offer 2-hour tours of the sandstone gorges. During the warmer months of the year you and your limousine buddies can also explore the gorgeous landscape on horseback with a guide at the Beaver Springs Fishing Park and Riding Stables. Fifty-foot sandstone cliffs form the lakeshore of nearby Mirror Lake State Park. Pine and oak woods where visitors can picnic and camp surround a popular boating spot, the lake.

If man-made attractions are more suited to your limousine group's tastes head to Noah's Ark Water park, which is the nation's largest, with 36 water slides, two wave pools, two endless rivers, minigolf, and 12 restaurants and lounges.

Wally's House of Embers is a friendly, family-owned restaurant specializing in ribs, but it also serves fresh seafood, pasta, and steaks. You and your limousine posse are sure to have a great meal here. The restaurant's multiple dining rooms are worth a peek; the romantic themed rooms are worth reserving for a special night out. For great burgers check out the family-friendly Monks Bar & Grill, a local fixture with a welcoming staff. The catch? Well everything here costs less than five dollars!

If historical sites are what your limousine crew wants then check out the Wisconsin Historical Museum. Three floors of permanent exhibits document Wisconsin history from prehistoric times to the present day. Exhibits encompass the history of Wisconsin's Native Americans, European immigrants, agriculture, mining, lumbering, industry, tourism, and political history. Changing exhibits provide a venue for the exploration of other themes in state history.

You can also take the limousine to the First Capitol in Belmont. First Capitol Historic site includes two of the buildings in which the first session of the Wisconsin territorial legislature convened from October through December 1836. Both building exteriors have been restored to their 1836 appearances while the interiors house modern exhibits on early territorial Wisconsin and the first territorial legislature. This place was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970

Villa Louis is another interesting stop that you and your limousine party could make. This is an 1870 Victorian mansion built by the family of Hercules Dousman, an entrepreneurial frontiersman who parlayed various investments into a fortune. His son Louis and wife Nina Dousman built the Villa Louis as the centerpiece of their sprawling country estate. Today the home is restored to its British Arts-and-Crafts-style elegance during its heyday in the 1890s.

Last, but not least, you and your limousine crew could check out the Pendarvis, in Mineral Point. Pendarvis traces its beginnings to Wisconsin's territorial lead-mining heyday during the 1830s and '40s, when many immigrant Cornish miners settled in Mineral Point to work the mines. What remains today is a collection of stone and stone-and-log cottages built by these immigrants in the tradition of their native Cornwall. Nearby is a former mine site and a 43-acre restored prairie.
